"Thinking Forward"
The Board of Trustees of the Securities and Exchange Commission Historical Society met on retreat in July to determine long-range plans for the Society - termed "Thinking Forward" - as the Society commemorates the 10th anniversary of its founding on September 15th.
"Thinking Forward" looks at four critical areas - the Society's mission, the virtual museum and archive, revenue, and volunteer leadership - and determines new and enhanced activities in these areas for the Society for the next three to five years.
The Securities and Exchange Commission Historical Society is independent of and separate from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and receives no government funding.
