Carla L. Rosati joined the SEC Historical Society as its first Executive Director in 2001. She founded the virtual museum and archive at www.sechistorical.org, which opened June 1, 2002.
She had been a non-profit development professional in New England and the Greater Washington, D.C. region before joining the SEC Historical Society. She is certified by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
She served as the first woman President of the National Capital Gift Planning Council from 1999 to 2001, and was co-chair of its inaugural "Planned Giving Days" conference.
The Cathedral Choral Society in Washington awarded her its Order of Merit in 2005 for her leadership in major giving and gift planning. She was a member of the CCS Board of Trustees, and chaired its Development and Honors Committees.
Ms. Rosati is an honors graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Gamma Mu.
