In this oral history, Peter Driscoll reflects on his SEC career including his time as director of the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations, later known as the Division of Examinations, from 2017 to 2021. He also discusses joining the Chicago Regional Office as a staff attorney working in both the enforcement and examination roles before becoming Assistant Regional Director and becoming the managing executive of the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations.
