Dear SEC Historical Society Supporter,

I hope you are having a wonderful summer. On behalf of the SEC Historical Society, I am reaching out to ask for your support of the Virtual Museum and Archives.

The museum honors the invaluable public service of the SEC staff, who serve investors every day, and documents the important history of the SEC.

Last month, we unveiled our newly modernized museum website. Originally launched in June 2002, this resource was created to preserve and share the history of financial regulation by and through the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Twenty-four years later, the Society has introduced the museum’s first major modernization. The redesigned site features a more contemporary look, enhanced search capabilities, and an improved user experience that will help attract a new generation of visitors while preserving the history of the SEC and financial regulation for years to come.

The new platform also makes it easier to expand our growing collection of oral histories, historical documents, educational programs, and photographs.

As a nonpartisan nonprofit, we provide free access to the museum and operate independently of SEC oversight and funding.
