In this oral history, Thomas Newkirk reflects on his service from 1985 to 2004 in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, including his time as the division’s chief litigation counsel directing the commission’s litigation against Drexel Burnham Lambert and Michael Milken and as an associate director leading investigations of significant financial fraud cases.
